Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2 May 2026

The short version

EasyAds uses strictly-necessary cookies to operate the platform plus the Meta Pixel on our public marketing pages so that our own Facebook / Instagram ads can be measured. We do not use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any other third-party product-analytics or session-recording tools.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. EasyAds uses only strictly necessary cookies - the minimum required to operate the platform securely and correctly.

3. EU / EEA visitors and the Meta Pixel

The Meta Pixel is a non-strictly-necessary cookie. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive § 5(3), the Hungarian Information Act (Act CXII of 2011 § 14(2)), and the NAIH cookie guidance, non-essential cookies require explicit, prior opt-in consent.

EasyAds does not load the Meta Pixel anywhere inside the application at app.goeasyads.com — authenticated users will never see it fire. On the public marketing pages (goeasyads.com / www.goeasyads.com) we display a consent banner on your first visit with three choices:

To change your choice later, clear your browser cookies for goeasyads.com and the banner will reappear, or contact us at help@goeasyads.com. The Meta Pixel is purely for measuring performance of our own ads — refusing it does not affect any feature of the website.

4. What We Do NOT Use

We want to be explicit about tracking technologies we have deliberately chosen not to use:

Our internal usage telemetry (which features you use, which buttons you click) is collected via a first-party API endpoint (/api/telemetry) and does not use cookies or any third-party service.

5. Third-Party Services

The following third-party services are used as part of the platform but set their own cookies or tokens only within their own domains (not on goeasyads.com):

6. Managing Cookies

Because EasyAds only uses strictly necessary cookies, disabling them in your browser settings will prevent the platform from functioning correctly - you will not be able to log in or maintain a session.

If you wish to clear your session, use the "Sign out" function within the application, or clear cookies for goeasyads.com through your browser settings.

7. Updates to This Policy

We will update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or tracking technologies. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. We commit to maintaining the accuracy of this policy - we will not list cookies we do not actually use.
